Zorgboerderij Hoogerlust is a social care farm in Muiden, where people with support needs take part in the daily activities of the farm shop. Together with the team, they help with harvesting, food prep and sales — always supported by personal guidance and opportunities to grow.
The shop offers fresh products from the farm itself and from nearby producers, including seasonal fruit and vegetables, eggs, honey, jam, soup, firewood and meat from their own livestock or regional partners. You’ll also find Beemster® cheese and products from fellow farmers and small-scale makers.
Visitors are welcome to explore the grounds, feed the cows, or relax while children play with outdoor toys and go-karts. It’s a hands-on experience of life on the land.
The project connects agriculture, care and community. By selling honest food and hosting learning opportunities, the shop supports both local producers and people with a distance to the labour market.
