Looking for beautiful and affordable second-hand and vintage items in Amsterdam? Then visit the new ReShare Store on the Bilderdijkstraat in Amsterdam-West. In this store you will find a wide range of second-hand and vintage clothing from 2 euros for women, men and children. ReShare Store Amsterdam is run by the enthusiastic floor manager Carla, who has a huge passion for giving pre-loved clothing a second life.
ReShare Store is part of the Salvation Army, a non-profit organization that is committed to the most vulnerable people in society and is also committed to a healthier environment. Since 1885, the organisation has been collecting clothing for people who can use it well. They are now one of the largest textile collectors and collect around 20 million kilos of textiles annually, of which some of the most beautiful items go to the ReShare Stores. Other clothing is used for emergency aid, goes to other sorters and retailers they work with or, when it is no longer wearable, to partners who can recycle it.
The ‘re-sharing’ of clothing is an important theme in their concept. In the social store ReShare Store Amsterdam you will find affordable pre-loved clothing with a story and you contribute to a better environment. Less new clothing means less production!
