Iambe is a studio shop in Amsterdam where care, craftsmanship, and creativity come together. As part of the Raphaëlstichting, it offers a safe and inspiring work environment for people with intellectual disabilities or other care needs. With care and attention, they create unique, handmade products that are sold directly in the shop.
From ceramics and textiles to organic baked goods from their in-house bakery – each item reflects the individuality of its maker and is crafted with traditional techniques. The work process is tailored to the pace and abilities of each participant, with space for personal growth, collaboration, and meaning.
Iambe is more than just a shop. It’s a place where inclusion is both visible and tangible. Customers come in for a special gift or fresh bread and are met with a different perspective on work, value, and community.
Right in the heart of the city, Iambe offers a meaningful space for both creators and visitors, where craftsmanship and human connection take center stage.
