Looking for a colourful second-hand clothing store? At De Woensdagwinkel in Amsterdam-Noord you can find a second-hand collection for kids & grown-ups.
It’s a bit of a mysterious location, but if you press ‘De Woensdagwinkel bell’ you will be picked up at the door. If the door is open, follow the signs, through the corridor to the store. Next to the affordable pre-loved collection, the store also has a rack with well-known (design) brands.
The name says it all: De Woensdagwinkel is open on Wednesdays. Unfortunately, their Instagram account has been banned, but you can still get a weekly update via this Whatsapp-group about nice specials and different opening days (sometimes they are also open during the weekend). If Wednesday really doesn’t work out for you, send them a message for a visit by appointment.
For every item sold, one euro is donated to a varying charity. In this way you not only reuse clothing, but you also directly support a good cause!
