Fancy a practical exploration of the potential of waste from textile production and thinking about innovative solutions? In this 2‑day workshop, you will focus on the exploration and design of yarns and surfaces using various textile techniques such as spinning, weaving, knitting, sewing, felting, crocheting and more.
The lab’s equipment is available to you during the workshop. There is also the opportunity to get a taste of new techniques and combine them with your practice in the long term.This workshop is aimed at designers, artists and all other textile-craft practitioners and interested parties. It is important that you are proficient in at least one selected textile technique and are open to experimental and open-ended work. You are also welcome to bring your own leftover material!
