Always wanted to become a silversmith? Register for the SILVERSCHOOL and learn the complete basics of forging in an intensive, creative training course in Ghent. During 4 sessions of 3 hours each, you will be coached by an experienced goldsmith and learn techniques such as sawing, soldering, filing, polishing, designing and casting.
During the course you will make, among other things, silver rings, a bracelet, earrings, and work on your own design. There is space for only 5 participants, so there is plenty of room for personal guidance.
Dates:
- Wednesday 20 November: 1.30pm – 4.30pm
- Saturday 30 November: 10am – 1pm & 2pm – 5pm (lunch included)
- Wednesday 4 December: 1.30pm – 4.30pm
The course is suitable for anyone aged 16 and over, both beginners and those with experience. All materials, including the silver, are included in the price. In addition, you will receive snacks, drinks and lunch during the sessions on Saturday.
