Talk ​“Health risk for textile workers”

Come and learn about working conditions in India, Indonesia and Bangladesh! NGO Femnet and Drip by Drip are organising this talk with four experts from India and Indonesia who work in the textile industry. They will provide insights into the health risks workers are exposed to daily – and what changes are urgently needed to improve the situation.

In addition to India and Indonesia, there are also insights from Bangladesh. The NGO Drip by Drip recently conducted a project on hygiene and menstruation there. Therefore, the evening will focus on reproductive health and we will clarify questions such as: Is reproductive health a legal requirement? What rights do menstruating or pregnant workers have? What needs to change to ensure reproductive health protection?
