Description
In this 2.5‑hour embroidery workshop, we’ll joyfully explore how to embellish clothing with beautiful embroidery stitches. Whether you want to stitch flowers, letters, or other shapes — anything goes! This session is suitable for beginners, but also fun for experienced embroiderers who’d like to practice with Solufix.
What you’ll learn during the workshop:
Which materials we recommend for embroidering on different types of garments. You’ll learn what works best for various fabric types.
How to transfer a pattern onto fabric using Solufix. You can choose one of our sample designs or draw your own.
How to start stitching without making a knot
How to make embroidery stitches on clothing
Materials:
Bring your own garment! Feel free to bring a cap, bag, blouse, or t‑shirt to embroider on — you can even bring a pair of fabric shoes. We recommend bringing a piece made from tightly woven or knitted fabric. Prefer to start with a practice piece? We’ll have some fabric swatches available for experimenting during the workshop.
All embroidery materials used during the session are included in the price. If you’d like to keep practicing at home, additional supplies are available for purchase in our studio.
Catering:
We’ll serve coffee, tea, and water.
And of course, we’ll have some delicious pastries from the patisserie.
