WORKING CONDITIONS & WAGES
Rosenblatt&Fabeltiere produces directly in its own workshop in Hamburg St. Pauli.
Production is craft-based and takes place entirely on site. Sweatshirts are finished with embroidery and appliqués, and children’s accessories are made from fabric offcuts.
Rosenblatt&Fabeltiere is a social inclusion project run by JWRG e.V., funded by the Hamburg Authority for Labour, Social Affairs, Family and Integration. The scheme is aimed specifically at people with mental health disabilities who have a permanent reduced earning capacity, offering them participation in working life.

Do you know the benefits of organic cotton?
PACKAGING
- Products are packaged in self-stamped paper bags.
- Cardboard boxes are used for shipping.
- No shipping occurs within the supply chain, as production takes place on site.
WATER CONSUMPTION & CHEMICALS
The use of organic cotton guarantees stricter requirements for pesticide and chemical use during cultivation. Only part of the cotton range is certified.
The majority of the range consists of natural fibres. Polyester is used in only very few pieces, which carries the risk of releasing microplastics during washing.
CIRCULAR PRODUCT DESIGN
The majority of the range consists of pure organic cotton, which is positive from a circular perspective. Some pieces, however, contain polyester and therefore make later recycling more difficult.
Rosenblatt&Fabeltiere offers a repair service, which extends the lifespan of the products and makes an important contribution to circularity.
The use of zips from donations shows a conscious approach to available materials.
The products are generally easy to repair, as they are made by hand in the brand’s own workshop and the repair service is actively offered.
CIRCULAR BUSINESS MODEL
Rosenblatt&Fabeltiere offers a repair service.
Alongside the repair service, the brand offers made-to-order production, which reduces overproduction.
Customers can also choose in colour and length of individual pieces, which can encourage a longer period of use.
No take-back service is offered for worn or end-of-life garments. Further circular business models such as rental offerings are not yet part of the brand strategy.
