Since 2003, La Fille D’O has been producing in a small Belgian factory known as Quality Consult in Kemmel, prioritizing local skilled work instead of relying on fair trade certifications. Their commitment to local production guarantees product quality.

Material sourcing is equally local and sustainable, with 90% of fabrics being Oeko-Tex certified and produced in Belgium, ensuring no harmful substances can come into contact with your skin. The remaining materials, including cotton and silk, are sourced from

family-run businesses in Austria and France. This local sourcing strategy not only supports local businesses, but also minimises the brand’s carbon footprint.

Materials, like Oeko-Tex certified polyester, which make up most of the brand’s fabric, are chosen for durability, recyclability, and ease of maintenance, ensuring a longer life and a smaller footprint.
