Iriedaily has been a part of the Fair Wear Foundation since 2016. Just one year later, they were awarded Leader status, meaning the brand had taken further steps in practising fair trade and that their collection was produced fairly and humanely. Iriedaily doesn’t just rely on the Fair Wear Foundation’s independent audits and regularly visits its manufacturers. One of its suppliers was also GOTS and BSCI audited. They even filmed their Portuguese factory visits in 2021 so you can have a look behind the scenes.
Iriedaily has been with manufacturers based in Portugal and China for over ten years.
About 55% of their products (jackets, shirts, trousers and accessories) are produced in China. They have a complaints system for factory workers in place and are in constant communication with their suppliers. The complaints are also published in their sustainability report. Their largest suppliers are GOTS certified and the brand is now working on certification for its products. Iriedaily creates CSR workshops for its employees and implements trainings in Portugal and China held by the brand’s own specialist.
