Mademoiselle eco?
The most common material in the collections is viscose. This is made of birch, bamboo and eucalyptus fibres. It’s completely natural, but that doesn’t mean it’s sustainable. You can only be sure of this if sustainable forestry is assured. This is not mentioned here and that is why COSH! has requested further information from the brand. There are also some garments made of organic cotton, but it is not certain whether they will wear a certificate.
The brand insists on only working with OekoTex certified fabrics. Every garment has this label, which means that there are no harmful chemicals present on the end product, nor are they discharged into the wastewater.
Mademoiselle YéYé is PETA Vegan approved, which means that no animal materials were used in the production process. We also do not know where the production takes place. So we would have liked this brand to be much more transparent.
