Made­moi­sel­le eco?
The most com­mon mate­ri­al in the coll­ec­tions is vis­co­se. This is made of birch, bam­boo and euca­lyp­tus fibres. It’s com­ple­te­ly natu­ral, but that does­n’t mean it’s sus­tainable. You can only be sure of this if sus­tainable forestry is assu­red. This is not men­tio­ned here and that is why COSH! has reques­ted fur­ther infor­ma­ti­on from the brand. The­re are also some garm­ents made of orga­nic cot­ton, but it is not cer­tain whe­ther they will wear a certificate. 

The brand insists on only working with Oeko­Tex cer­ti­fied fabrics. Every gar­ment has this label, which means that the­re are no harmful che­mi­cals pre­sent on the end pro­duct, nor are they dischar­ged into the wastewater.

Made­moi­sel­le YéYé is PETA Vegan appro­ved, which means that no ani­mal mate­ri­als were used in the pro­duc­tion pro­cess. We also do not know whe­re the pro­duc­tion takes place. So we would have lik­ed this brand to be much more transparent.
