A little outside the city of Madrid is an atelier specialising in professional, elegant and responsible clothing. The founder, María, is a materials engineer and energy engineer. Since November 2021 she combines science and fashion so that women won’t have to compromise on social and environmental responsibility when choosing clothes for work.
María’s question is: if something looks good, why change it? This is the key to Vaicana’s philosophy. The capsule collections are limited editions that offer a few key garments in various colours that mix and match well with one another. So, by buying Vaicana products, you know that the jackets, trousers or jackets you buy will give you an infinite number of combinations in the future.
In order for Vaicana products to last over time, great attention is paid to their quality and durability. One of Vaicana’s goals is that more than 60% of the materials in its collections comply with national or international standards. Particular attention is paid to ensuring that the fabrics are made from natural and organic fibres, and that no harmful substances are used.
Finally, Vaicana does not renounce social commitment. Part of the profits go to social projects in three macro-areas: water, education and energy. Want to know more about the brand? Click here.
