With great pleasure and excitement we are preparing a series of floral objects, titled ´Craft for the curious – modular textile tangibles’ for the ISOLA Design Gallery exhibition at Milan Design Week. Like little bon bons or magical flower fields, it’s your talisman created to brighten up your day. While switching between (wearable) function and form, every object shows a unique ´one of a kind’ handmade quality. Our modular building blocks, created from laser cut textiles, are artisanally handcrafted without the use of stitches or glue. They show new ways into the future landscape of textile development.
I feel sincerely honored and acknowledged to receive support from the Creative Industries Fund for this project and would like to invite the committee members involved and everyone planning to visit MDW to enjoy this wonderfully curated exhibition in the centre of Milan.
