Fukuroshiki

Chris­ti­an Zam­bra­no is the foun­der of Fuku­r­o­shi­ki. Some time ago Chris­ti­an rea­li­sed that the world is not dis­posable. That is why he star­ted to work with Andrea, desi­gner, and Pau­la, head of tracea­bi­li­ty and trans­pa­ren­cy. Tog­e­ther, they crea­ted this inno­va­ti­ve, high­ly aes­the­tic and sus­tainable firm of mul­ti­func­tion­al bags made in Spain with recy­cled lea­ther. A desi­gner bag for com­mit­ted peo­p­le, striking a balan­ce bet­ween sus­taina­bi­li­ty, fashion, beau­ty and values that enable a bet­ter world.

For its crea­tors, Fuku­r­o­shi­ki is a phi­lo­so­phy that belie­ves in the power of choice: from the crea­ti­on and design pha­se, to the com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on and sales pha­se. At Fuku­r­o­shi­ki they want to give the power back to the con­su­mer. Thus chan­ging the way we consume.

The bags are hand­ma­de in Spain, alt­hough they are also part­ly made in the sewing work­shop Ellas lo Bord­an, in Madrid. Ellas lo Bord­an is a sewing work­shop with an impact, which offers job oppor­tu­ni­ties to women in vul­nerable situations.
