Christian Zambrano is the founder of Fukuroshiki. Some time ago Christian realised that the world is not disposable. That is why he started to work with Andrea, designer, and Paula, head of traceability and transparency. Together, they created this innovative, highly aesthetic and sustainable firm of multifunctional bags made in Spain with recycled leather. A designer bag for committed people, striking a balance between sustainability, fashion, beauty and values that enable a better world.
For its creators, Fukuroshiki is a philosophy that believes in the power of choice: from the creation and design phase, to the communication and sales phase. At Fukuroshiki they want to give the power back to the consumer. Thus changing the way we consume.
The bags are handmade in Spain, although they are also partly made in the sewing workshop Ellas lo Bordan, in Madrid. Ellas lo Bordan is a sewing workshop with an impact, which offers job opportunities to women in vulnerable situations.
Fukuroshiki offers stylish, multifunctional bags, handmade in Spain. But the secret is that they know that their bags will not change the world: they leave that to the people who carry them.
