Are you a true gamer and do you dream of creating your own game? Then our Game Camp is the perfect place to bring your ideas to life. Put on your headset and get your creative juices flowing, because at this Game Camp, you’re in control.

What will you be doing?

During this camp, we’ll get behind the scre­en toget­her to build your dre­am game. First, we’ll come up with a rock-solid con­cept: will it be a thril­ling sho­oter, an ima­gi­na­ti­ve RPG or a lig­h­t­ning-fast plat­for­mer? Toget­her with our game experts, you’ll work out the story, the chal­len­ges and the style in full deta­il. What will be your unique twist?
Let’s build! Once your game plan is fina­li­sed, we’ll start deve­lop­ment. We’ll be using Scrat­ch for this. No pri­or expe­ri­en­ce? No wor­ri­es, we’ll expla­in how it wor­ks. Do you alre­ady have some expe­ri­en­ce? We’ll guide you step by step, tailo­red to your level.
By the end of the week, your game will be ready to shi­ne! During a big showca­se, you can show off your cre­ati­on to fri­en­ds, family and other gamers. Who knows, you mig­ht just ins­pi­re the next gene­ra­ti­on of game developers!

Practical information

This camp does not inclu­de over­nig­ht accom­mo­da­ti­on and takes pla­ce at the De Cam­pag­ne esta­te, from Mon­day 6 to Fri­day 10 April. The address is Gij­zel­s­tra­at 12, 9031 Ghent.

The cost for this camp is 295 euros.

En juist daarom orga­ni­se­ren we zomer­kam­pen voor iede­re­en, ook voor jon­ge­ren die vaak uit de boot val­len. In samenwer­king met de Vla­am­se over­he­id bieden we gra­tis kam­pen aan voor jon­ge­ren die leven in socio-eco­no­mis­ch kwet­sba­re oms­tan­dig­he­den. Beve­el ons aan, stu­ur onze con­tac­t­ge­ge­vens door, of neem zelf con­tact met ons op zodat wij de kin­de­ren en jon­ge­ren bere­iken die hier het meest baat bij hebben.
