Make Your Own Bar of Soap in Amsterdam
In its soap kitchen at De Hallen in Amsterdam-West, Nature Bar invites you to discover the craft of handmade soap. During this Saturday morning workshop, the Nature Bar soap makers guide participants step by step through the cold process method, the same technique they use for every soap in their shop. You’ll learn how each ingredient shapes the final bar, blend your own scent with essential oils, and choose your own colour, pattern and design. No experience is needed, and groups are kept small so everyone gets personal guidance.
At the end of the morning, you take home your own 400-gram bar of soap. Good to know: handmade soap needs at least four weeks to cure before use, and Nature Bar explains how to let it mature properly at home. Unlimited coffee and tea, plus snacks, keep you going throughout.
