Choose the Blanket That Becomes Your Winter Coat

What if you could pick the very blan­ket that will keep you warm all win­ter? On 5 and 6 Novem­ber, Arn­hem label Hul le Kes opens the doors of its stu­dio for two days of shop­ping and blan­ket hun­ting. After a suc­ce­s­sful first edi­ti­on last year, the Pick Your Own Blan­ket Event is back.

Visi­tors can browse a selec­ti­on of vin­ta­ge wool blan­kets and cho­ose the colo­urs and pat­ter­ns that spe­ak to them. The ate­li­er in Arn­hem then tur­ns the cho­sen blan­ket into a Cre­mer Jac­ket, Monet Jac­ket or Gug­gen­he­im Coat. Do you have a blan­ket at home with a spe­ci­al memory attac­hed? Bring it along, and the team will explo­re what it could become.

The­re is more to see than blan­kets. Dre­sses, expre­ssi­ve shirts, com­for­ta­ble tro­users and the We Are de Sja­ak T‑shirts are all the­re to try on. It is also a chan­ce to meet the makers behind the gar­ments and see how the stu­dio works.
