Opulent Origins Pop-Up

Fol­lowing the suc­cess of the first ​“Opu­lent Ori­gins” pop-up in the Dan­sa­ert dis­trict, the story con­ti­nu­es this Octo­ber! An Van­den­berk and her col­lec­ti­ve of five passi­ona­te arti­sans return to cele­bra­te craf­t­sman­ship, col­la­bo­ra­ti­on, and sus­ta­ina­bi­lity. The Octo­ber edi­ti­on will embra­ce the warm and cozy atmosp­he­re of autumn, showca­sing exclu­si­ve pieces from the likes of Valérie Ber­c­k­mans (sus­ta­ina­ble fashi­on), Bena­azir Muk­he­rjee (sil­ver jewel­ry with rare gem­s­to­nes), Monique Ver­reydt (unique silk scar­ves), and Katle­en Ver­nim­men of Rever­sa (upcy­cled inte­ri­or objects).

Join us at Van Arte­vel­des­tra­at 10 in Bru­ssels to dis­co­ver time­less, han­d­craf­ted cre­ati­ons, and explo­re the unique fusi­on of artis­try and sus­ta­ina­bi­lity in this seaso­nal edi­ti­on of ​“Opu­lent Origins.”

The desig­ners:

• An Van­den­berk | This Is No Disco

An Van­den­berk, foun­der of This Is No Dis­co, pre­sents the sus­ta­ina­ble ​“Just be you in bam­boo” col­lec­ti­on, known for its avant-gar­de style and com­fort. The pop-up also featu­res her upcy­cled leat­her goods, inclu­ding two exclu­si­ve han­d­bags that per­fec­tly mat­ch the col­lec­ti­on and can be custom-ordered.

• Valérie Ber­c­k­mans

Valérie Ber­c­k­mans, a pione­er in sus­ta­ina­ble fashi­on, cre­ates mini­ma­list yet femi­ni­ne pieces from fair tra­de, orga­nic, and upcy­cled mate­ri­als. Her col­lec­ti­ons are pro­du­ced local­ly in Bel­gi­an ate­li­ers, with a zero-was­te appro­ach that tran­sfor­ms lef­to­ver fabrics into new fashi­on items.

• Bena­azir Mukherjee

Bena­azir Muk­he­rjee desig­ns time­less jewel­ry using lesser-known gem­s­to­nes like Ruby Zoisi­te and Chryso­pra­se, cele­bra­ting the­ir natu­ral imper­fec­ti­ons. Her cre­ati­ons, craf­ted pri­ma­rily in sil­ver, are desig­ned with sus­ta­ina­bi­lity in mind, meant to be che­ri­shed and passed down thro­ugh generations.

• MoVe Scar­ves | Monique Verreydt

MoVe by Monique Ver­reydt offers luxu­ri­ous, sus­ta­ina­ble silk scar­ves that enhan­ce per­so­nal style and con­fi­den­ce. Each scarf is unique, accom­pa­ni­ed by a num­be­red cer­ti­fi­ca­te of aut­hen­ti­city, making it a per­fect acce­ssory for tho­se who value ori­gi­na­lity and eco-con­s­ci­ous fashion.

• Rever­sa | Katlijn Vernimmen
