Darning workshop – repairing thin areas on socks

In this dar­ning cour­se, you will learn the tec­h­niqu­es that can be used to rein­for­ce worn soc­ks at the heels or jum­pers at the elbows. The beauti­ful ​“visi­ble men­ding” tec­h­nique with vari­ous stit­c­hing tec­h­niqu­es will make your soc­ks or jum­pers fit and weara­ble again.

Bring a pair of soc­ks and/​or a knit­ted jum­per with worn pat­c­hes (no real holes), your curi­osity and a good mood! Plen­ty of yar­ns to cho­ose from and all dar­ning tools are ava­ila­ble on-site. You will take home your fre­s­hly repa­ired piece of knitwe­ar and small prin­ted instructions.

The wor­k­shop will be held in a safe spa­ce with a small gro­up of up to 6 people and deli­ci­ous tea.
