Wear For Life – OBA Naaiatelier

OBA is hos­ting drop-in sessi­ons from Sep­tem­ber 1 to Octo­ber 19 for inde­pen­dent sewing mac­hi­ne use at seve­ral maker spa­ces in its bran­c­hes: CC Ams­tel, Java­ple­in, Slo­ter­me­er, and Molenwijk. Over the­se seven weeks, people can use sewing mac­hi­nes at the­se four loca­ti­ons during two desig­na­ted time slots per week: week­day mor­nin­gs (09:30 – 12:30) or Satur­day after­no­ons (13:00 – 16:00). Each loca­ti­on is equ­ip­ped with three sewing mac­hi­nes, an over­lock mac­hi­ne, and basic sup­pli­es such as sewing thre­ad, fabric scraps, and a small col­lec­ti­on of pat­ter­ns. Par­ti­ci­pants are wel­co­me to work inde­pen­den­tly on the­ir pro­jec­ts! A super­vi­sor will be on hand during each sessi­on to offer sup­port if needed.
