Knits and Now festival

In Der Hin­ter­gar­ten in Ams­ter­dam, the first edi­ti­on of Knits and Now will take pla­ce. This is the only craf­ts and music event in the Net­her­lan­ds, orga­ni­zed by Knits and Notes in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with Naaicafé De Steek.

Knits and Now will be the lar­gest live craf­ts and music event that Knits and Notes has orga­ni­zed so far – and this time it is in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with Naaicafé De Ste­ek. The­re are cre­ati­ve acti­vi­ti­es you can par­ti­ci­pa­te in, such as weaving, natu­ral dye­ing, repa­iring, and more. A total of at least 500 visi­tors are expected.

Below you will find more infor­ma­ti­on abo­ut the fes­ti­val and the pre-event we are orga­ni­zing on June 3^rd. Knits and Notes beca­me known from pre­vi­ous events at Para­di­so and De Scho­ol whe­re they mana­ged to con­nect craft and music. Ear­ly bird tic­kets and regu­lar tic­kets are ava­ila­ble thro­ugh Four Venues.

Pre-event
During the pre-event on June 3^rd from 16:00 at De Ste­ek, you will get to know Knits and Notes and expe­ri­en­ce why craf­ting toget­her with music is so con­nec­ting. Addi­ti­onal­ly, you will meet the orga­ni­zers, some acts, and desig­ners. The­re will, of cour­se, be music, snac­ks, and drin­ks. You will go home with your own craft kit that you can also bring to the fes­ti­val on June 23^rd.

The Knits and Now pre-event on June 3^rd from 16:00 at De Ste­ek, Van der Hoop­s­tra­at 70H in Ams­ter­dam, and the Knits and Now fes­ti­val on June 23^rd at Der Hin­ter­gar­ten in Ams­ter­dam. On June 23^rd, we will give a tour of the fes­ti­val gro­un­ds at 12:30 whe­re you can dis­co­ver the cre­ati­ve acts and meet the makers. The­re will also be a deli­ci­ous lun­ch. The fes­ti­val doors will open at 14:00.

We would, of cour­se, be thril­led if you would like to sha­re your own expe­ri­en­ces abo­ut the pre-event and/​or the fes­ti­val to ins­pi­re more people abo­ut what craf­ting can do for you. How you cho­ose to do that is enti­rely up to you.
