Fonetik has teamed up with Studio Campo to organise pottery painting workshops.
Come and paint a piece of pottery with your child or grandchild, guided by Studio Campo, and let your creativity run wild. You’ll go home with a unique creation as a memento of your lovely time together.
This edition is specifically aimed at parents, grandparents, godparents and children. Fancy joining in? Book your spot by selecting a date and time, and you’ll be automatically registered! One booking is valid for one adult and one child. Walk-ins aren’t possible yet, but that might change in the future.
Need creative talent?
You absolutely do not need any experience for this! Anyone can create a beautiful and unique piece without needing any talent. And if you need help, there’s always someone on hand to guide you with your idea, or to give your inspiration a little nudge.
Can I take my finished creation home straight away?
No. You won’t be able to take your creation home straight after the workshop, as it still needs to be fired in the kiln. This ensures your piece lasts longer and is protected against, for example, washing up or the microwave. The firing takes place at Studio Campo itself, in Asbeek. The fired pieces can be collected from Fonetik up to two weeks later.
Age
For safety reasons, this workshop is suitable for children aged 4 and over, under adult supervision.
Location
The workshop will take place at Fonetik’s second premises, located at 8 Korte Zoutstraat.
Included in the workshop:
1. One standard piece of pottery from Studio Campo per person. Would you like to paint more than one piece, or a larger piece than the standard one included? You can pay extra on the day. The price quoted covers 1 adult + 1 child.
2. All the supplies and materials you need to paint your piece of pottery
3. Firing by Studio Campo. After glazing and finishing with an extra layer of transparent glaze, the pieces go into the kiln where they are fired at 1000 degrees. After a maximum of 2 weeks, you can collect your glazed creations from Fonetik
4. A drink. You can order additional drinks on the spot.
5. A Fonetik voucher, which you can use to browse to your heart’s content and treat yourself to a little something after all that hard work ;-)
