How sustainable is Sandro?

San­dro is an acces­sible luxu­ry brand. It’s part of SMCP Group, a French com­pa­ny with four brands: San­dro, Maje, Clau­die Pier­lot & De Fur­sac. All four are ins­pi­red by Pari­sian chic. The mother com­pa­ny doesn’t publish an annual sus­tai­na­bi­li­ty report, but some of its brands pro­vide infor­ma­tion about their ope­ra­tions on their indi­vi­dual web­sites. San­dro does not.

When a brand doesn’t offer any infor­ma­tion, there are seve­ral risks you take as a consu­mer. For example, the cli­mate impact of that par­ti­cu­lar brand or pro­duct can be much higher com­pa­red to its indus­try peers. The com­pa­ny might use cer­tain harm­ful che­mi­cals or there might be ani­mals or humans har­med for the manu­fac­tu­ring of its pro­ducts.
