French-born Marine Del­mau moved to New York in 2011 to stu­dy fashion mar­ke­ting at Par­sons School of Desi­gn. Right out of col­lege, she found her way into the fashion world by hel­ping launch a new brand with an up-and-coming New York desi­gner. While the col­lec­tion was beau­ti­ful, she felt no connec­tion to it and drea­med of crea­ting some­thing tru­ly spe­cial, some­thing with a dee­per mea­ning. The name Lâcher Prise came to her in a dream, and from there, her rich and mea­ning­ful desi­gns took shape.
