MEET THE BRAND: Bert van Son – MUD Jeans

Bert van Son, foun­der and spo­kes­men of Mud Jeans comes to visit us on Satur­day 4^th Novem­ber at 11h-13h in Super­goods Ghent, Bra­bant­dam 63. Bert will tell the sto­ry of Mud Jeans, about the sus­tai­na­bi­li­ty of denim indus­try and share his vision for a more green future for the fashion indus­try. He will also inform about the recy­cling pro­cess of Mud Jeans, and show how the pro­cess starts with the Mud Jeans shredder. 

There will be oppor­tu­ni­ty to ask ques­tions to Bert, and Olga, from Super­goods Ghent. Regis­tra­tion is nee­ded to esti­mate how many people are coming.

The event will be held in Dutch or in English, depen­ding on the audience.

Come to recycle your old denims with Mud Jeans shred­der, and to see your­self how the recy­cling pro­cess of jeans starts. Mud Jeans is our part­ner for many years now and a true pio­neer in cir­cu­lar and slow fashion. The brand col­lects used denims to pro­duce new pairs, this model is a good example of reu­sing mate­rials in a tru­ly cir­cu­lar way. Their goal is to be ful­ly cir­cu­lar in just 2 years, in 2025.

During this event you can bring all your old denims to Super­goods Ghent and shred them with the Mud Jeans shred­der. The mate­rial will be used to make new Mud Jeans.

A few things to keep in mind:

- All jeans are wel­come, also what is not bought from our stores. You can bring seve­ral jeans and of any size.
- Please consi­der, are the jeans still in good condi­tion? If so, please resell or donate them for someone else. We do not accept as good as new jeans for recy­cling.
- To be able to shred the jeans in the store, please remove all metal parts such as zip­pers, but­tons and rivets alrea­dy at home, or with the tools avai­lable at the store.
