Gare de Robe is a multi-brand store on the Leopold II-Laan on the outskirts of Bruges. Set in an old ironing workshop, Barbara Van Holleke started her store in 2011 following a career in interior design and fashion. Her goal was and still is to give women a space to discover lesser-known Belgian brands, although she does also hold some European brands for you to enjoy.
Gare de Robe stocks the Belgian sustainable brand FAM the label who use leftover fabrics from big fashion brands to produce their timeless Belgian designs by a family-run business in Portugal. The well known German brand Armedangels, famous for its sustainability and fairness, and Bellamy is also held at Gare de Robe.
Head to Gare de Robe if you’re looking for clothes, shoes, handbags, and many other accessories. And don’t worry, if you work during the day…Barbara keeps the store open till 8pm on Thursday so that everyone can pay a visit to Gare de Robe.
