So environmentally friendly!
At SEEFD they keep and screen print their love for clothes. They work from and with the first upcycle centre in the Netherlands. They wash, make and repair the clothes that come in. These clothes then get the SEEFD signature look with unique hand-painted and screen-printed prints. In this way, they not only extend the life of their garments, but also give them extra value. Clothing with a past becomes a canvas for art and statement.
Their inks comply with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I and contain no solvents, no heavy metals, no toxic pigments and no PVC. So environmentally friendly! They save water during the screen printing process of their garments by using just enough ink. This means that they only have to rinse a small amount of ink from the screen-printing sieves used. They clean our sieves with rainwater and use a biological cleaning agent.
Sometimes zippers are added to the design. These are made of polyester or cotton and metal, but are recycled from old garments. If they use buttons, they are recovered from post-consumer waste.
All by her self and locally
Who saved, made and fixed these clothes? Naomi does everything from production herself. And since everything is done locally, there is hardly any transport involved. Only webshop orders have to get to their destination in one way or another.
