She started her initiative with the aim of giving future brides the chance to wear the dress of their dreams. Real Brides sells donated wedding dresses at reduced prices. These dresses come either from shops or from people who get rid of them themselves. Real Brides doesn’t make them end up in the garbage pile, but gives them a second life. Ruth donates 60% of the proceeds of the dresses to charities such as Think Pink, ANBN, Cherut and Mothers for Mothers. If that doesn’t deserve a place on COSH, then what does?
