Share the Passion is a clothing brand founded by designer and artist Luc De Maeght. With the brand, he wants, as the name implies, to share his passion and love for fashion. Share the Passion has a wonderful range of gender-neutral polos, sweaters, T‑shirts, sweatpants, face masks, and sneakers. All printed with unique prints and embroidery by Luc De Maeght himself. Luc’s artworks are the result of a connection between meditation, love, energies and passion.
Materialen
All Share the Passion garments are made from organic and GOTS certified cotton. This allows the brand to guarantee that no harmful chemicals were used during the production process of the cotton. In addition, the garments are all PETA vegan approved.
The t‑shirts are made of only one fiber type: cotton which is 100% organic, and are therefore easily recyclable. The polo shirts consist of 95% organic cotton, supplemented by 5% elastane for better comfort. For the sweatpants, 85% organic cotton was used, supplemented by 15% recycled polyester.
The Share the Passion ecological face masks are made of viscose, a natural fibre made from bamboo, which is compostable. Combined with the bio nano-coating, the face masks offer good viral and bacterial protection and can be washed up to 100 times, making the cost of using up to ten times cheaper than conventional disposable masks.
Ethical production
The production of the Share the Passion T‑shirts and joggings takes place in Bangladesh and is supervised by the Fair Wear Foundation, which guarantees good working conditions.
The embroidery and printing of the T‑shirts and sweaters is done locally in a West Flemish company that attaches great importance to the environment. For example, they use ecological and water-based inks that do not contain any thinners and are therefore better for the environment.
