Underwear should be secure and should not irritate the skin. That is why Lovjoi only works with materials that comply with the OEKO-TEX® standard 100. This means that no hazardous chemicals remain on the products. The bras and underpants are made of organic cotton and the Polyester-Spacer Cups are completely free of Polyurethan and are composed without foam. In order to be even more sustainable in the future, they are working daily on improving their products. Which organic cotton certificates apply, you can not find on their website.
Fair pay
The lingerie is produced in Germany and in a family business in Porto. There, the employees earn a fair European wage. The seamstresses do a lot of precision work and this is reflected in the end product.

Circular?
Lingerie often contains up to 22 different materials in one piece. From elastic, lace, fabric, tulle, cups, sewing thread and so on. Lovjoi resolutely chooses as much organic cotton as possible for their pieces. Lace and tulle are made of recycled polyamide. Lingerie is difficult to recycle or recycle anyway. But Lovjoi does its best to work with recycled materials.
