Your Blanket, Your Coat
Rather than picking a coat from a rail, why not help create one? On Saturday 21 November, Hul le Kes brings its Pick Your Own Blanket Event to its Rotterdam pop-up store on Groenendaal.
Visitors can browse a selection of vintage wool blankets, choose the colours and patterns they love, and have the blanket made into a Cremer Jacket, Monet Jacket or Guggenheim Coat by the label’s atelier in Arnhem. Have a blanket at home that holds a special memory? Bring it along and explore with the team what it could become.
The result is a one-of-a-kind winter piece shaped by personal taste, an existing textile and the craftsmanship of the Arnhem studio. While there, visitors can also browse the rest of the Hul le Kes collections in the pop-up, which runs from 20 November to 4 December.
