Iris Nijen­hu­is desig­ns are mainly ready-to-wear but you can puzz­le your own cus­to­mi­zed piece during her DIY-wor­k­shops in her ate­li­er in Ams­ter­dam. Com­bi­ne your favo­ri­te colors in a che­er­ful bra­ce­let, a pair of ear­rin­gs or puzz­le your own nec­k­la­ce in a unique sha­pe. One base, but no defi­ni­te sha­pe. Not­hing is pre-deter­mi­ned; it is only sug­ges­ted. The col­lec­ti­on is for the curi­ous, trig­gers per­so­nal fan­tasy and invi­tes to inter­pre­ta­te the opti­ons fre­ely. It’s suita­ble for ages 10 to 100.

Wor­k­shop loca­ti­on and dura­ti­on
In gene­ral the wor­k­shops are hos­ted at Iris’ ate­li­er at Prin­se­ne­iland 24-A1.
For big­ger gro­ups its also possi­ble to orga­ni­ze a wor­k­shop on loca­ti­on.
In 2,5 hours you be guided into making your own weara­ble acce­ssory.
The DIY flower mig­ht take a lit­tle lon­ger depen­ding on your spe­ed, it’s possi­ble to do the fini­shing touch at home if necessary.

For the pri­ce of €80,- vari­ous opti­ons can be cho­sen:
– The Cla­ssic nec­k­la­ce UNI or MUL­TI
– The Mini’s or Maxi’s ear­rin­gs + The Slim bra­ce­let
– The Slim bra­ce­let 2x (opti­onal + The pin bro­och for +€10,-)
– The Wide or Sna­ke bra­ce­let + The Pin brooch

For the pri­ce of €115,- you can make the Roset­te nec­k­la­ce

We try to keep this page upda­ted with ava­ila­ble dates, but surely the­re are more opti­ons to find a date that mat­c­hes all of our sche­du­les. So ple­ase do not hesi­ta­te to sug­gest other opti­ons.
With a gro­up of mini­mal 5 par­ti­ci­pants you can also book a pri­va­te sessi­on.
If you have booked a date and the mini­mum amo­unt of par­ti­ci­pants is not reac­hed on that date, we will res­c­he­du­le your booking to a new date that suits you.

Onli­ne wor­k­shops
We are wor­king on this opti­on. This would requ­ire for you to pur­c­ha­se a DIY-kit inclu­ding all the parts you need and we plan an onli­ne sessi­on to assem­ble it toget­her.
