Cho­ose from a Tote Bag, Cla­ssic T‑Shirt, or Wrap Skirt to craft during the two-day wor­k­shop. Arran­ged by Elze van der Hart, foun­der of NOORD LOOM, and in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with De Ste­ek, the wor­k­shops offer a unique blend of texti­le dye­ing with bota­ni­cal inks and gar­ment sewing.

Dis­co­ver the magic of natu­ral inks and gar­ment making:

• Day one: Learn how to pre­pa­re dif­fe­rent types of texti­les for dye­ing, and dye them with biolo­gi­cal inks deri­ved from roots, leaves and plants.
• Day two: Cho­ose from seve­ral readily ava­ila­ble pat­ter­ns and with the guidan­ce from Elze, cre­ate your very own bota­ni­cal­ly dyed garment!

All texti­les and mate­ri­als that are used are from orga­nic sour­ces, all 100% biode­gra­da­ble, good for your body, your mind and nature.

Led by Elze van der Hart, a fashi­on pro­duct mana­ger with over 10 years of indus­try expe­ri­en­ce, this cour­se is part of a seri­es of wor­k­shops desig­ned to ins­pi­re and teach sus­ta­ina­ble fashi­on prac­ti­ces using orga­nic and biode­gra­da­ble materials.
