Tiny Thrift Concert: Davide De Luca

Live Funk and R&B Among the Thrift Finds

Picture a Saturday afternoon with a coffee or tea in hand, while a musician plays just a few metres away, surrounded by records, artworks and second-hand treasures. That is the idea behind Tiny Thrift Concert, the new monthly concert series at Muna, the café and thrift store in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Each month, a different artist takes the floor on a Saturday. There’s no big stage and no distance, just music, stories and a warm atmosphere. Everyone is welcome, and entry is free.

The series opens with Davide De Luca, who blends funk, R&B and Italian songs into one groovy mix. Originally from Italy, he studied jazz vocals in Monopoli and completed a master’s in Jazz Voice at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2024. His song “Amsterdam” first found him an audience online. He has since released two EPs, Crisalidi (2024) and Vado Oltre (2026), performed on major Italian stages and appeared on X Factor Italia 2026.

Grab a drink at the bar, find a spot between the LPs and artworks, and enjoy an hour of live music up close.
