Circular Talk: Circular Economy Education

Join the dis­cu­ssi­on on how to embed the prin­ci­ples of the cir­cu­lar eco­nomy wit­hin our edu­ca­ti­on sys­tem.
Reso­ur­ces are beco­ming scar­cer, sup­ply cha­ins more pre­ca­ri­ous, and geopo­li­ti­cal shif­ts are cle­ar­ly evi­dent. This makes it all the more impor­tant to embed the prin­ci­ples of the cir­cu­lar eco­nomy in our edu­ca­ti­on sys­tem at an ear­ly sta­ge. Toget­her with experts, we will dis­cuss how cir­cu­lar thin­king can begin as ear­ly as scho­ol, sha­pe care­er cho­ices, and be fur­t­her deve­lo­ped thro­ugh voca­ti­onal tra­ining and con­ti­nu­ing education.

We are all still at the begin­ning of this tran­sfor­ma­ti­on. Yet Ham­burg has made a cle­ar com­mit­ment to the cir­cu­lar eco­nomy and can take on a pione­ering role – inclu­ding in buil­ding a sus­ta­ina­ble edu­ca­ti­on system.
