RE-GAR­DE at Object Rotterdam

RE-GAR­DE pre­sents a new col­lec­ti­on focu­sed on form and weara­bi­lity, taking the body as its star­ting point. Thro­ugh sub­tle design inter­ven­ti­ons, the col­lec­ti­on explo­res how clot­hing can resha­pe pro­por­ti­on, volu­me, and movement.

The pre­sen­ta­ti­on inclu­des T‑shirts with adjus­ta­ble tape deta­ils that allow the fabric to be pul­led up and repo­si­ti­oned on the body, as well as swe­aters featu­ring pro­no­un­ced volu­me at the back. Small prin­ted texts such as ​“wrap your­self in dre­ams” and ​“keep on keeping on” add per­so­nal and reflec­ti­ve layers to the garments.

A new pho­to seri­es accom­pa­ni­es the col­lec­ti­on, showing how mini­mal adjus­t­ments can alter the lines of the body and invi­te alter­na­ti­ve ways of wearing. The full col­lec­ti­on is cur­ren­tly on dis­play and ava­ila­ble for pur­c­ha­se via the website.

RE-GAR­DE will par­ti­ci­pa­te in Object Rot­ter­dam from Febru­ary 6 to 8. Visi­tors are invi­ted to expe­ri­en­ce the col­lec­ti­on up clo­se and explo­re the rela­ti­on­ship betwe­en body, form, and weara­bi­lity. Fur­t­her deta­ils will be sha­red soon.
