Bring the Beach Home with Handmade Shell Dishes
REST in Mortsel invites you to a cosy summer-evening workshop where scallop and oyster shells turn into original decorative dishes. Working with colourful napkins and food-safe decoupage glue, participants craft their own ‘sea shell trinket dishes’, a lovely way to hold on to that holiday feeling a little longer.
Guided by RESTie Eline, everyone makes around three unique dishes and learns the napkin decoupage technique step by step. You can finish your creations with an elegant gold rim or a colourful design entirely to your own taste.
These little dishes make a real eyecatcher on the table. Use them to keep jewellery, keys or hair ties close at hand, to serve dry nibbles, to present a candle, or even to hang as wall decoration, the choice is yours.
