How sustainable is Wildrye?

Wild Rye looks like a small slow fashion com­pa­ny that values​sus­tai­na­bi­li­ty. Its mate­rials are Blue­Si­gn cer­ti­fied and it gua­ran­tees wor­kers’ rights. Besides that, the com­pa­ny wants to com­ply with the Higg Index (see our green­wa­shing report) and make its packa­ging more sus­tai­nable. Unfor­tu­na­te­ly, there’s cur­rent­ly not enough infor­ma­tion avai­lable to be able to sug­gest the brand as a sus­tai­nable alter­na­tive. It lacks trans­pa­ren­cy concer­ning its mate­rial use, sup­ply chain, mea­su­rable cli­mate results, human rights and ani­mal rights.
