Swim Against was born when Amelia, after studying fashion design and specializing in lingerie and swimwear, worked for a season in a fast fashion brand and there she clicked. She understood from the inside how polluting fast fashion is, and the subhuman conditions of the staff working in it. After that stage she felt the need to create something different, something well done and lasting. She wanted to do her part and help to break this established and shameful tendency thanks to her grain of sand with Swim Against.
