How sustainable is Eco Etico?

After years of selling different brands of washable nappies and sanitary towels that use polyester (PUL or Nylon) for waterproofing, Eco-Etico decided to investigate with the aim of producing a fabric for the inner layer of sanitary towels and nappies that was totally POLYESTER FREE. In this way, not only do we avoid artificial plastics, but people with allergies or very sensitive skin also benefit. In total about 10 years of research and development finally paid off and they were able to patent in several countries their unique inner layer produced with the latest textile technology. The fabrics used for the inner layer are certified organic and fair trade cotton, which are also MADE FOR HEALTH certified for medical textiles, making them very safe for people with chemical sensitivities.
