Hem­per nace de un via­je a Nepal don­de des­cru­bie­ron el cáña­mo como una mane­ra de crear pro­duc­tos y que sean sos­te­ni­bles. Los pro­duc­tos Hem­per están teji­dos en el taller de Mohan con tela­res manua­les de lan­za­de­ra y con­fec­cio­na­da en taller colec­ti­vo de Bajhang (Boudha­nil­katha, Kat­man­dú). Las per­so­nas de esta comu­ni­dad pro­vie­nen de áreas rura­les y per­te­ne­cen al seg­men­to de la socie­dad con menos recur­sos e inclu­so sin edu­ca­ción bási­ca. Pero ellos saben, que las mochi­las que cosen a dia­rio cru­zan el mun­do has­ta lle­gar a tu casa.

Hem­per was born from a trip to Nepal whe­re they dis­co­ve­red hemp as a way to crea­te sus­tai­na­ble pro­ducts. The pro­ducts Hem­per are woven in Moha­n’s workshop with shuttle hand­looms and made in a collec­ti­ve workshop in Bajhang (Boudha­nil­katha, Kath­man­du). The peo­ple of this com­mu­nity come from rural areas and belong to the seg­ment of society with fewer resour­ces and even without basic edu­ca­tion. But they know that the back­packs they sew every day cross the world until they reach your home.
