How sustainable is Wildrye?

Wild Rye looks like a small slow fashion com­pa­ny that values​sus­taina­bi­li­ty. Its mate­ri­als are Blue­Sign cer­ti­fied and it gua­ran­tees workers’ rights. Bes­i­des that, the com­pa­ny wants to com­ply with the Higg Index (see our green­wa­shing report) and make its pack­a­ging more sus­tainable. Unfort­u­na­te­ly, there’s curr­ent­ly not enough infor­ma­ti­on available to be able to sug­gest the brand as a sus­tainable alter­na­ti­ve. It lacks trans­pa­ren­cy con­cer­ning its mate­ri­al use, sup­p­ly chain, mea­sura­ble cli­ma­te results, human rights and ani­mal rights.
