The mate­ri­als the brand uses are recy­cled wool, orga­nic hemp, Ten­cel®, recy­cled poly­es­ter, G‑1000 Eco, traceable wool, poly­ami­de, cot­ton and metal but­tons. A who­le laun­dry list, one of which stands out: G1000. Fjäll­rä­ven pre­fers to use this mate­ri­al for out­door clot­hing. This is a blend that con­sists of 65% poly­es­ter and 35% cot­ton. G‑1000 also brea­thes bet­ter than other fabrics and is the­r­e­fo­re ide­al for out­door acti­vi­ties. You can work the fabric yours­elf with the Green­land Wax, this pro­tects it and ensu­res a lon­ger life of your garment. 

Fjäll­rä­ven com­pen­sa­tes for the­se emis­si­ons with pro­ducts such as Eco-Shell clot­hing, Fjäll­rä­ven Clas­sic tours and busi­ness trips or by sup­port­ing sus­tainable ener­gy pro­jects. The brand also aims to redu­ce its CO2 emis­si­ons by 25% by 2020 and to be com­ple­te­ly CO-neu­tral by 2025.
