EKOMODO was born inside a recycling factory in the Basque Country, where 5 million plastic bottles are recycled every day.
The team behind the brand identified the opportunity to turn this waste into products that people could use in their everyday life, such as computer cases, backpacks, stationery, bottles…
Thus, their products are made with sustainable materials, 100% recycled and recyclable, locally and in social workshops, generating employment for people at risk of social exclusion, and getting a plastic bottle that would take more than 500 years to degrade to become different design and sustainable accessories.
