The foun­der, Pie­ter Van­de­wie­le crea­ted this brand in 2020 in Kor­tri­jk after a visit to a cork fac­to­ry in Por­tu­gal. Cork is the ide­al mate­ri­al for yoga becau­se it’s light, resistant, water­pro­of, soft and reusable. In addi­ti­on, it pro­tects the eco­sys­tem and the tree can rege­ne­ra­te on its own. For rela­xa­ti­on, the brand also offers meri­no wool access­ories of Euro­pean ori­gin such as eye cushions or rela­xa­ti­on mats. For con­scious and envi­ron­men­tal­ly con­scious yoga enthu­si­asts, Pierre Sports is a gre­at combination!
