Newex

Newex has deve­lo­ped the first eco­lo­gi­cal and 100% spe­cia­li­sed can­yo­ning suit, crea­ted in Spain and recyclable.

The initia­ti­ve was born in 2019 with the aim of caring for the pla­net, making can­yo­ning a much more sus­tainable and envi­ron­men­tal­ly fri­end­ly sport. 

Álex Cerón, Álva­ro Gon­zá­lez and Jor­ge Vera, foun­ders of the pro­ject, as can­yo­ners, deci­ded to do their bit by crea­ting a sus­tainable alter­na­ti­ve to the high­ly pol­lu­ting clas­sic neo­pre­ne wetsu­it, which would cover the needs of canyoners.

They are the first pro­ject crea­ted by and for can­yo­ners in Spain, with a team of five pro­fes­sio­nals in the sec­tor, all with more than 20 years of expe­ri­ence in can­yo­ning, respon­si­ble for the deve­lo­p­ment, test­ing and vali­da­ti­on of the pro­duct to achie­ve the best pos­si­ble equip­ment. They pro­du­ce in Spain, local­ly and KM0 way, in local fac­to­ries and work­shops in Valen­cia and Barcelona.
