Ada­ma is Hebrew for ​‘earth’ and its foun­der, Yacin­tah, makes all Ada­ma soaps by hand in her ate­lier in Ghent. If you pla­ce an order onli­ne, you can (if you like) pick it up at the ate­lier, which is super cool to see what a small-sca­le soap fac­tory looks like! The foun­der is happy to help you find the per­fect soap for your skin or hair.

At Ada­ma, you can also buy soap dishes or bags, have soaps per­so­na­li­sed for spe­cial occa­sions and take out a soap year subs­crip­tion that gives you 12 soaps. 

Yacin­tah has a pas­sion for plants and natu­re and has now offi­cially been making soap for Ada­ma for a year. For that soap, Yacin­tah uses orga­nic ingre­dients that are sour­ced as locally as pos­si­ble. In addi­tion, all pro­ducts are plas­tic-free, palm-oil-free and cruelty-free!
