Edo Collective: a place where local designers come together
Edo Collective is located in the heart of Antwerp. It's a place where local and sustainable designers sell their creations together. The founders, Veerle and Lien, wanted a shop that belonged not only to them, but also to the designers. Each member decides what Edo Collective looks like and how their work is exhibited. In this way, no one experiences the feeling that they are handing over their pieces and leaving them to their fate. In order to maintain this collective, Veerle and Lien organise a monthly meeting with all designers. There they can help each other, give tips and support in entrepreneurship. The contribution of the entrepreneurs to the collective depends entirely on the time they themselves invest in running the boutique.
You can go there for clothing, but also for design. You'll find wooden furniture made of old Antwerp oaks by Stadshout, beautiful screen prints by Astrid Nieuwborg, lighting by More Circular, etc. All this between the clothing of HNST Jeans, Marjan Storme, Abelone Wilhelmsen, Tropas and so many other high end sustainable brands.
The entire interior at Edo Collective gives you the feeling of walking into a design studio. Stockman's mannequins in the showcase, a large, free space with white walls and minimalist decoration. While shopping you can take a seat at the bar for a healthy juice or a revitalising coffee. Because Edo Collective not only wants its partners, but also its customers to feel at home.
